Position Overview:

Performs care/ maintenance and ensures proper functioning of equipment and supplies used by the Anesthesia Department. Assists Anesthesiologists in the provision of direct patient care as requested.

Job Description :

EDUCATION

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

• Other: Minimum two years college.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

• Minimum two years current Anesthesia Technician experience.

• Recent experience with operating and troubleshooting (within last three years) laser, video, microscopes, and other Operating Room equipment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of principles/applications of aseptic technique, care/maintenance of anesthesia related equipment and care/maintenance of surgical equipment.

• Strong communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Pay Range is $54.77 to $60.31 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
