Description We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based in San Francisco, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary role will involve processing vendor invoices, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. This role is within the financial services industry and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately on a weekly basis

• Ensure all customer credit records are updated and accurate

• Address and resolve customer inquiries effectively

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required

• Reconcile vendor statements as part of routine checks

• Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team and provide backup when needed

• Stay updated with the installation and functioning of the OTR automation tool

• Utilize accounting software systems for various tasks

• Apply Account Coding knowledge during the processing of vendor invoices

• Use Business Central for various processes and workflows. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Proficiency in account coding procedures

• Extensive knowledge of accounting software systems

• Strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Proven ability in account reconciliation

• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is required
