Program Supervisor (AKA House Lead or House Manager)

for ARF Behavioral Group Home

Pay: $45,136 Annual Salary + Overtime

Group Home location: NORTHRIDGE, CA

This program serves adults with developmental disabilities (such as Autism, Down's Syndrome, etc.) who also have history of challenging behaviors, in a home environment.

  • Manage services within a designated program, including site operations, case management, and implementation of individual service plans

  • Supervise/coordinate the daily activities of Direct Care Staff, maintain schedules of Direct Care Staff, and oversee the day-to-day operation of the program

  • Deliver direct care services and support to assigned individuals we serve on an ongoing basis

  • Provide input and feedback in hiring, corrective action, performance evaluations, and termination decisions

  • Ensure onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training is delivered

  • Support the Program Director/Administrator with administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, scheduling appointments, etc.

  • Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed.

  • Oversee just one home - caseload of only 4 adults in the home

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience:

  • At least one year of experience providing direct support to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting

  • Supervisory experience (overseeing other staff) is highly desired, but may be relaxed if candidate has extensive experience as direct support staff in adult residential facilities

  • Professional experience working directly with individuals who have challenging behaviors - required

  • *An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for well qualified candidates

  • DSP Year 1 and DSP Year 2 certifications completed - required

  • Valid CA driver's license in good standing required

  • Also - must have at least one year of history as a licensed driver (in any US state)

  • Access to reliable transportation with current registration and auto insurance coverage

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships and a reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
