Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in the healthcare industry, located in San Fernando, California. The person in this role will be responsible for managing the daily activities and processes of the Accounts Payable Department, including traditional accounting duties and responsibilities. The role involves processing and payment of invoices in a timely fashion, proper matching of purchasing and receiving documents, and correct account distribution to the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

• Direct, supervise, and participate in the daily activities and processes of the Accounts Payable Department

• Handle traditional accounting duties and responsibilities

• Ensure the processing and payment of invoices in a timely fashion

• Ensure proper matching of purchasing and receiving documents

• Ensure correct account distribution to the general ledger

• Ensure and follow all month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and timely

• Follow the weekly invoice and check-writing schedule

• Handle a range of general staff accounting tasks, including conducting performance evaluations, approving work hours, handling employee relations issues

• Audit invoices, payments, vendor aging, and other reports

• Provide input on workflow improvement and potential savings from the accounts payable perspective

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Concur for data processing, expense reporting, and managing accounts payable functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with Concur software is preferred.

• Strong data processing skills are essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions is necessary.

• Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proficiency in check processing is expected.

• Ability to handle discrepancies in accounts is imperative.

• Experience with expense reporting is a plus.
