NOW HIRING weekend shift Material Handlers for a manufacturing company in Sorrento Valley!

Location - Sorrento Valley, CA

Shift - Weekend Shift (Friday - Monday 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM)

Pay Rate - $19.00/HR

Job Description

The material handler will perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control duties in the warehouse.

Shipping

• Prepares documents, instructions, and other required documentation to coordinate the shipping and freighting of pumps, cartridges, and materials.

• Packs and prepares company products and other materials for shipping in accordance with customer requests.

• Maintains records of orders shipped, documenting weights and shipping charges.

• Ensures documentation complies with governmental and regulatory agencies' requirements.

• Schedules and coordinates shipment deadlines with Customer Service to ensure shipments and freights arrive at the appropriate destination within the determined timeline.

• Maintains computerized shipping systems, 100 lb. scale, 300 lb. hand truck, pallet jack, bubble pack dispenser, and bander.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Receiving

• Receives incoming materials, services, and supplies by unpacking and checking goods received against purchase orders or invoices.

• Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.

• Transfers approved materials into their proper stockroom locations or delivers packages to internal customers.

• Coordinates incoming shipments of goods authorized for return with employees in Customer Service, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance.

• Receives product from quarantine and production into finished goods, verifies accuracy against the shop order or sterile processing log, and reports discrepancies to the supervisor.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Inventory

• Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

• Pulls materials to support work orders and inventory requests.

• Performs daily cycle count and ensures 100% accuracy of all finished goods inventory.

• Performs daily inventory data transactions.

• Provides feedback to inventory inquiries.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
