Naval Facilities Engineering Command STRATEGY & FUTURE REQUIREMENTS DIRECTOR in San Diego, California
Summary You will serve as a Strategy & Future Requirements Director in the Business Directorate of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will supervise and delegate assignments for three departments in support of the Business Directorate to accelerate organizational effectiveness and mission readiness. You will exercise significant responsibilities in dealing with officials of other units or organizations. You will collaborate closely with all Business and Support Lines to support command long range and strategic planning. Coordinate with CIO for enterprise IT requirements. You will lead the Planning and Programming phases of resource management, integrating requirements definition and leading risk-based strategic assessments. You will develop, coordinate, and implement the Commander's strategic direction and objectives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing subject matter expert-level knowledge and application of business analytics, data driven decision-making methodologies, and strategic thinking to guide and implement organizational process improvements; 2) Assisting financial experts in the planning and programming phases of organizational resource management to develop actionable budgets; and 3) Leading, guiding and mentoring teams of cross functional professionals engaged in analyzing complex issues, problem solving, and developing solutions related to organizational internal efficiency and effectiveness, command structure, processes, future challenges and mission support.
