job summary:
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. Microsoft AD / Azure / O365 with minimum 10+ years of experience and certifications on Azure Enterprise Administrator / Solutions Architect. The Systems Engineer is part of a collaborative team responsible for managing a variety of infrastructure technologies, including SCCM/Intune, Active Directory, Corporate Email (Exchange/Ironport) and SolarWinds. The team also manages our endpoint patching and vulnerability remediation processes utilizing SCCM and related tools as well as establish controls and policies to more effectively secure and monitor the environment.
Responsibilities:
Resolve complex infrastructure and application integration issues
Serve as the subject matter expert in one or more IT infrastructure technologies, including SCCM, Active Directory, Exchange (O365), and SolarWinds
Perform highly complex analysis and technical evaluation of the existing and future IS Infrastructure
Perform standard patching process for the corporate Server and Workstation environment utilizing SCCM and related technologies
Organized and able to plan and execute on tasks while providing status updates
Demonstrate expert-level knowledge on IS projects which involve a wide range of issues including architecture, electronic data traffic, network security, platform and data security
Review and contribute to the improvement and standardization of infrastructure and security administration process across all business units
Assist in the development and implementation of infrastructure security policies and procedures through coordination with senior management
Track and monitor system or network security incidents
Enforce security policies and procedures through internal controlled self-assessments.
Manage Axos Bank Vulnerability
Management system Provide level 1 and 2 security support for all incident and problem tickets
Requirements:
Associate's degree in a technical or computer-related field of study or equivalent related experience or higher
10+ years' experience with SCCM, Microsoft Windows Update, Windows Patching or similar technologies
Active Directory and Exchange Architecture best practices
Certifications for AD / Azure
Back up and monitoring administration.
strong understanding of manual and/or automated security configuration reviews of network devices, servers, and workstations based on secure configuration checklists such as CIS, NSA, DSA, SANS, Microsoft, Cisco, etc.
PowerShell scripting
Server Monitoring processes and support of monitoring tools
Committed to providing excellent end user technology support and customer service to staff, business partners, and vendors
24x7 responsibility: ability and willingness to be on call, work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
