Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is an industry-leading provider of military aircraft, autonomous systems, aerospace structures, next-generation surveillance, Strike, and commercial solutions. NGAS Schedule Management Homeroom has an opening for a Level 4 Senior Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst to join its team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in either Melbourne, FL or San Diego, CA with partial teleworking available.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Executing initiatives that proactively collaborate within NGAS and across the Sectors, Divisions, and Programs, including collaboration among functional teams such as Program Management, Schedule Management, Cost Management, Global Supply Chain, and Business Management
· Providing daily guidance and subject matter expertise on the implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) processes, tools, data analysis, and metrics for NGAS Schedule Management to enable satisfaction of programmatic requirements
· Assisting programs in preparing, developing, and coordinating the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and/or Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives
· Ensuring program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated, including cost/schedule integration, material integration, and subcontractor integration
· Supporting internal and external audits, driving compliance, agility, and affordability
· Functioning as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement, and learning with a growth mindset
· Implementing scheduling best practices across the Sector, Divisions, and Programs as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to, the following: NDIA Planning & Scheduling Excellence Guide, DCMA 14-Point Schedule Assessment and DCMA EVMS Compliance Metrics (DECM), Integrated Program Management Report (DI-MGMT-81861A) and Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) DI-MGMT-81861B, Critical Path Method (CPM), CPM Analysis, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA) and Agile Framework
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience OR Master's Degree with 6 years experience in Program Planning & Scheduling, Program Control, and/or similar industry related fields
· Experience with Microsoft Project/Project Server, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Experience with Deltek Acumen, DCMA forProject Analyzer, DCMA EVMS Compliance Metrics
· Demonstration of a strong understanding of project management and earned-value management principles and their application to complex projects. Applied experience with EVMS (Earned Value) policies and procedures
· Experience in applying integrated cost/schedule and critical path methodologies within an Earned Value (EVMS) environment
· Experience in a Department of Defense (DoD) manufacturing or engineering development environment
· Willingness and ability to travel domestically 25% of the time
· This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
· Ability to work on site in either Melbourne, FL or San Diego, CA with partial teleworking available
Applicable Earned Value Management (EVM) experience must be listed on your resume.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Active DoD security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite
· Familiarity with Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) and/or Integrated Program Management and Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR) requirements
· Experience leading teams
· Proficient in Microsoft Project/Project Server, Deltek Cobra
· Resource Loaded Schedules
The salary ranges are reflective of the cost of living in those cities and states.
Salary Range for Melbourne, FL: $104,400-$156,600
Salary Range for San Diego, CA: $120,900-$181,300

Salary Range: $104,400 - $156,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
