General Summary:

QUALCOMM’s Corporate IT organization has an opening for a candidate with deep expertise in Microsoft endpoint system engineering and ecosystem management. The emphasis is on Windows OS, particularly ARM64 Copilot+ PCs, and involves creating configuration policies/scripts, debugging system issues, deploying automation, and providing feedback on system design.

This position will be part of a team that delivers enterprise technologies and solutions to the entire Qualcomm workforce. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, adaptable, an effective communicator, results-driven, and motivated to investigate and implement solutions for a large, multi-faceted Fortune 500 company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

OR

5+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with Compute engineering to ensure enterprise ecosystem stability and facilitate customer rollouts.

• Investigate and debug Operating System, driver(s), and user environment issues on Windows on ARM devices.

• Plan and coordinate beta program testing, track user feedback, and provide regular updates and escalations to IT leadership, OEMs, ODMs, and internal engineering teams.

• Design custom solutions to enhance support, management, and deployment of devices.

• Create and manage, and work toward resolution of cases relevant to issues escalated by end users, the development team and team members.

The individual in this role will focus on managing and improving robust enterprise adoption and rollout of Windows on ARM internally, while also providing expertise externally to Qualcomm customers. Duties will include service monitoring, maintenance, client support, and project/upgrade work for the supported services and technologies.

Skills/Experience

• Windows on ARM (Copilot+ PC)

• Microsoft Intune Autopilot

• Microsoft Configuration Manager Operating System Distribution (OSD)

• Experience working on projects within technical teams

• Strong experience with Windows OS (all versions) in a large corporate environment

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with varying levels of the organization

• Productive in a team environment, contributing to a positive team effort.

Pay range:

$45.50 - $68.24

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
