Robert Half Senior HR Generalist in San Diego, California

Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join client's HR team and contribute to their company’s success. The Senior Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a experienced HR professional with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.

  • Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and implementing resolutions.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs.

  • Conduct performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development plans.

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs.

  • Lead HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals.

  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources role, with at least 3 years in a generalist capacity.

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
