Prepare and complete estimates for assigned projects of all sizes and complexity during the various stages of design from conceptual through to construction documents, either directly or through management of team members. This position may assist in the ongoing development of cost managers. Cost Estimating for construction projects in one or more of the following areas: electrical, mechanical, plumbing, structural, landscaping. Provide pricing expertise in various phases of construction work. Research prices on material, labor using published documents, local conditions, market studies etc. Partner with management team in developing new customers and growing existing customer base. Client interaction and satisfaction. Develop and nurture client relationships. Support senior management by providing needed reports and responding to inquiries for information. Mentor estimating technicians, estimators. Prepare project plans, track opportunities, and monitor project efficiency through relevant software systems. Perform other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions and additional duties assigned by supervisor. Telecommuting Permitted. Salary Range: \$120,000 to 130,000 per year.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Architecture or a related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
