*This is a per diem/casual position working 8-hour day shifts. No nights or weekends. Located at Scripps Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. You will float to various departments within that site. *

*What you'll do: *
- Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
- Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Many departments will be more administrative (on computers/phones) and amount of face-to-face patient interactions will vary.
- Float to various departments based on need. Departments include Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Urogynecology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Neurology, Gynecologic Oncology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Vascular, Diabetes/Endocrinology, Nephrology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonology & more.
Required Qualifications:
- CA RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 2-3 years outpatient RN experience
