Rock West Composites, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for aProduction Control Coordinator. This position is onsite at our San Diego-North location. Facility located at7919 St Andrews Ave, San Diego, CA 92154.
Rock West Composites, Inc. is an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to providing innovative solutions for commercial and government customers. This position is located in our San Diego-North office and reports to our Production Manager.
Position Summary:
The Production Control Coordinator you will perform various warehouse tasks, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, staging, and assisting with purchasing. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in coordinating and scheduling on time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures.
- Provides status for daily sales meeting and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to order completion and delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
- Assists with reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
- Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients.
- Coordinates the flow of limited materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.
- Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
- Suggests potential solutions to resolve problems of limited scope affecting the supply chain.
- Releases order to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products. Works under general supervision
- Ensures damages or excess goods are processed through quality assurance and/or materials supervisor.
- Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Additional functions and other duties as assigned or required.
Non-Essential Functions:

Required Education and Experience:
- 1-5 years of supply chain experience, or relevant field. Aerospace preferred.
- Experience working with excel-based forecasting models.
- Exposure to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; SAP is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with excellent attention to detail and record keeping accuracy.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Sound understanding of end-to-end supply chain networks and a keen interest in improving operational efficiencies through analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team player, detail-oriented, proactive, drive to deliver results, and adaptable.
- Bi-Lingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation:
The hourly range for this position falls within $25-$30. The final compensation will be determined based on experience, skillset, and other factors permitted by law.
