Insight Global Payroll Specialist in San Diego, California
Job Description
The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing and related customer service support to employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments. This role includes collaborating with department managers, timekeepers, and Human Resources staff to verify attendance, compute wages and deductions, and resolve payroll discrepancies. The Payroll Specialist will assist in compiling employee time and payroll data, entering it into the payroll system, distributing paychecks, and preparing year-end tax forms, while also maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and performing other assigned duties as needed.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; 7 years of experience in lieu of a college degree Proficient in business systems and Microsoft Office applications Previous experience with Workday, ADP, and Human Resources is highly desirable Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Workday Certification null
