Amee Bay ,  a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Navy Submarine LAN Tech to provide technical assistance on submarines for local area network concerns. This position is located in San Diego, California.

Position Overview:

A Full Time position as a Submarine Information Technology (IT) and Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) Technician. The successful candidate shall provide support as primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Submarine systems and equipment for all aspects of IT and LWN/WAN installed systems. As a system and equipment specialist the duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

Position Responsibilities:

· Troubleshooting Embedded Control System (ECS), Information Technology (IT), Tactical Information Distribution System (TIDS), Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) and associated systems onboard submarines.

· Directing installation and support techniques in all areas of Submarine Information Technology (IT) equipment, shipboard Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN), and associated equipment, including procurement, installation, at-sea testing, corrective maintenance, and management.

· Planning, implementing, and executing technical projects and programs for the Submarine Cyber Systems Section.

· Ensuring interface with the In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA), system program offices and other government agencies and contractors.

· Directing repairs for submarine installed Local Area Network (LAN) equipment to include servers, clients, switches, UPS, and all cabling.

Position Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Minimum 10 years related experience with submarine LAN/WANs and associated components

· Ability to obtain / maintain a SECRET security clearance

· Ability to troubleshoot and assess various pieces of US Navy Submarine LAN/WAN systems

· Ability to communicate well with superiors and peers

· Ability to read technical manuals and repair standards

· Ability to work well on their own with minimal supervision

· Proficient in use of related computer program/systems, Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements:

· Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms.

· Regular Communication (hearing and speaking).

· Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting of heavy objects.

· Ability to go aboard ships, barges and other naval craft.

· Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways onboard ships.

· Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs in weight.

· Industrial, shop environment.

This position is located in San Diego, Ca.

The hourly rate for this position is $32.30 - $39.50 based on experience.
