Job Title: MEP Superintendent - FSM

Job Description

  • The MEP Superintendent role is focused on providing technical solutions, leadership, and management for the delivery and implementation of facility management processes and solutions on mission-critical projects such as data centers or hospitals.

  • The individual will work with technical and management subject matter experts to prepare technical solutions, documentation, and management in accordance with company guidelines and philosophies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solutions relating to facility management and support the documentation of systems and solutions.

  • Act as team leader, coordinating, directing, and developing other members of the process staff.

  • Determine processes based on knowledge, experience, and correspondence with design/engineering firms.

  • Read and understand plans and specifications for major/complex projects.

  • Research and collect input from multiple internal and external resources.

  • Understand multiple project types and analyze past and future program performance with the ability to understand assumptions, risks, and opportunities.

  • Utilize the full capabilities of software packages to improve production, quality, accuracy, and deliverables.

  • Prioritize building relationships with clients and subcontractors.

  • Direct the workload of the Solutions Associate(s).

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience as a superintendent with a general contractor working on large-scale projects.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a critical facility environment, including hospitals, airports, and data centers.

  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Construction Management.

  • Strong working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems.

  • Software proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint).

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to recognize, troubleshoot, document, and optimize facilities processes.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret financial data relating to facilities.

  • Possess strong written communication skills and be detail-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical/facility management-related field preferred.

  • Communicate complex issues effectively in written format and oral presentation to clients.

  • Must be able to function as part of a high-performance team.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a mobile work environment.

  • Housing will be provided only if they are not local to the area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $115000.00

Client provides generous benefits for our fulltime employees. Based on position location, a cost of living adjustment (COLA) may also be included (subject to periodic review and adjustment).
