Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Mental Health Integration Supervisor (North San Diego County) - Transforming Mental Health in San Diego, California
This is a grant-funded, casual position which is subject to renewal on 06/30/2025.
Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego has implemented an innovative, new Primary Care Mental Health Integration Program (PCMHI) through the Transforming Mental Health (TMH) initiative. This network of services provides accessible mental health services within the primary care medical home, and at our regional mental health specialty hubs across San Diego and Southern Riverside county. Our program is focused on supporting early identification, health promotion and illness prevention, in collaboration with our primary care pediatric partners. We have a growing team of clinicians focused on providing total child health and mental wellness.
JOB SUMMARY:
Supervisor, Outpatient Behavioral Health is responsible for the day to day staffing and operations of the RCHSD IHT/Hubs in the integrated health environments at various satellite locations. The Supervisor works closely with the appropriate Director to provide operational oversight of all IHT/Hub staff and care management. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for working closely with the leadership of the UCSD Division of Child Psychiatry. The Supervisor supports the teams in the clinical, programmatic and contractual activities of these programs including supervision of direct clinical staff, workflow, care coordination. Supervisor ensures scheduling, budget input, patient satisfaction/complaint resolution, and responding to critical events. Interviews, hires and provides timecard oversight, performance management and manages any related internship programs. Represents the departments in both internal and external meetings and committees when necessary. Provides direct clinical care in an as-needed capacity
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
3 years of licensed experience
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Knowledge of Child / Adolescent Development and Family Dynamics.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years of experience in an integrated care setting
Experience with provision of training / presentations to professional audiences
Experience providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff
The expected hiring range for this position is $52.95 to $72.81
