Job Summary
Supports the DOORS manager as an apprentice and provides succession and redundancy, ensuring the MUOS unique scripts, reports, traces, and documentation are maintained and updated.
Travel is required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Plays a cruical role in supporting the effective management and analysis of requirements within the CGN MUOS narrowband satellite communications program, using the DoD DOORS application. Manages the DOORS database, which describes 115 nested folders including 177 modules containing approximately 100,000 objects including baseline verification data and approximately 50,000 Service Life Extension and baseline requirements. Supports maintenance and updating of approximately 10,000 lines of DXL used for integration of baseline satellite and ground manufacturer data, custom reports such as hierarchical scripts, and tools to link by REQID. Assists in collaborating with various stakeholders ensuring requirements are captured, traced, and managed throughout the development lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least seven (7) years of relevant experience. Must have at least five (5) years of related experience applying fundamental concepts, processes, practices and procedures supporting requirements traceability using the DoD DOORS tool. Must have experience with digital engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts strongly desired. Candidate shall perform all functional duties independently. Education Requirements
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Certifications
IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Foundation certification or higher

Salary
The minimum salary starts at $110,000 and the max is negotiable based on experience.
