Robert Half Human Resources Coordinator in San Diego, California

Description

Our client, a reputable company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support various HR functions and contribute to the success of a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, screening, and conducting interviews.

  • Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Process payroll and benefits administration, including enrollment and changes.

  • Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Handle employee inquiries and issues, providing prompt and effective resolutions.

  • Support performance management processes, including tracking evaluations and feedback sessions.

  • Assist with training and development initiatives for employees.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR metrics and analysis.

  • Support other HR projects and initiatives as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR role.

  • Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
