Description

The Financial Analyst will play a vital role in assisting with forecasting, reporting, and evaluating financial performance. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role will provide exposure to a wide range of financial operations and help drive data-driven decision-making. If you’re a problem-solver with a passion for numbers, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis, profitability metrics, and forecasting models

• Monitor and analyze data from key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities by reconciling financial statements and ensuring accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for maintaining and improving financial models.

• Conduct research on market and industry trends to assist in long-term planning and investment decisions.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating pivot tables, charts, and basic financial modeling.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis.

• Familiarity with financial software systems such as SAP or Oracle.

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and basic financial regulations.
