We are currently looking for a

Respite Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Home Health Aide (HHA) whose desire is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our participants so they can thrive.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assists individuals in learning and developing new skills that will enhance opportunities for independence and inclusion. Support may occur in the home of the individual, or out in the community.
• Assists with attaining independence goals as described in the individuals ISP to progress with their independence as adults.
• Produces accurate documentation of the services delivered. Documents care provided and response of the consumer/family. Submits time sheets and all other documentation in a timely manner.
• Performs all duties in an ethical manner and in compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare/Medicaid regulations and established personnel policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.

Physical Demands:

• This position requires the employee to work in a variety of environments (housing styles, cleaning and maintenance, heating, and cooling) during visits to participants in their place of residence.
• Drivers License Preferred

Knowledge and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00

Schedule: Depends on clients needs, for our SLS (Supported Living Services) clients we have specifically structured shifts that cover morning to afternoon, afternoon to evening, evening through overnights.

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• CPR Certiciation (Required)
