Scripps Health Care Team Assistant - PACU - Per Diem - Carmel Valley in San Diego, California
This is a casual, non-benefited position working 8-hour day shifts twice/week (Mon 7am-3:30apm, Tue-Fri 8am-4:30pm). Training will be four shifts/week. Located at the Scripps Carmel Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center PACU.

*What you'll do: *
- Works in collaboration with other care team members to assure safe and optimal patient care.
- Supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, equipment/supply, charge reconciliation, and patient service duties.
- Cleaning and stocking.
- Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
- Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living and maintains a safe, organized environment.
Required Certification/Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instruction in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Multiple patient care skills preferred
