Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in the non-profit sector and a solid understanding of financial management and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting financial activities.
Ensure compliance with grant requirements and organizational policies.
Work closely with the finance team and external auditors.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
