Boiler Technician

Job Description

• Maintain and operate various systems and equipment including Ammonia refrigeration, boilers, HVAC units, air compressors, water softening equipment, and more.

• Performing maintenance tasks across plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical domains, monitoring and maintaining wastewater systems, and conducting routine inspections and repairs of building infrastructure to ensure a safe and comfortable working environment.

Hard Skills

• Operate ammonia refrigeration systems adhering to safety procedures and regulations

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery and equipment

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and manuals

• Data entry into CMMS and maintenance log updates

• Troubleshoot steam, air, and water systems, including pumps, valves, and piping

• General knowledge of fire protection systems

Soft Skills

• Ability to identify necessary parts, supplies, and services for maintenance

• Implement measures for routine maintenance and operational effectiveness

• Ensure safety and efficiency in all maintenance and repair activities

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Diego, California.

Work Environment
