• Location: San Diego, CA

• Duration: 6 month contract

• Pay rate range: $25-30/hour

• Schedule:4:30pm-1:00am, Tuesday-Saturday

Required skills, Education, and Experience

• MT/MLT and 0 to 5+ years of lab experience

• CVT/RVT/LVT and 1 to 5+ years of lab experience

• Associates degree with 1 to 5+ years of lab experience OR Bachelor's degree with 1 to 5 years of lab experience

• Demonstrated ability to build, develop and work within a laboratory team

• IT and LIS (laboratory information system) experience and general comfort level with

• computer systems, technology, and equipment interfaces

• Able to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills required

• Robust organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced STAT environment

• Strong computer skills and ability to work within Windows and Laboratory Information

• System environment

• roficient knowledge in Hematology, Chemistry, and Urinalysis.

• Experience with 2-3 of the following instruments: Advia 2120i, Immulite 2000xpi,

• Beckman Coulter chemistry platforms, Clinitek Novus, or Stago STarT

• Experience in the veterinary field strongly preferred, but not required

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
