Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a key role in managing the company’s accounts receivable processes. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and post customer payments accurately and timely.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past due accounts.

• Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.

• Generate and send customer invoices as needed.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain customer files and records.

• Provide excellent customer service regarding billing inquiries and issues.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.

• Prepare aging reports and other financial reports as needed.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and efficiency.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong understanding of accounts receivable principles and procedures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
