Our healthcare client is actively seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who exhibits strong knowledge in the accounts payable process. This role involves coding invoices for multiple locations and cost centers, as well as reconciliation tasks. A strong grasp of Excel is an absolute necessity. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that offers a shortened work day on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and code invoices involving multiple locations and cost centers.

• Carry out reconciliations, ensure that discrepancies are identified, and correct errors as necessary.

• Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies in the accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

• Assist with monthly status reports and monthly closings.

• Collaborate smoothly with the healthcare team as well as vendors to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist with expertise in handling multiple locations and cost centers.

• Solid understanding of the accounts payable process.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Excellent communication, numerical skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
