Description

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for an immediate contract or contract-to-hire opportunity in the manufacturing sector in San Diego. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of data entry, Accounts Payable (A/P), and coding invoices in a production environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• Processing of Accounts Payable Invoices specific to manufacturing costs

• Efficient data entry handling for large volumes of manufacturing invoices

• Handling 2 and 3-way match, batching, and coding for manufacturing operations

• Reconciling vendor accounts linked to manufacturing materials/expenses

• Maintaining and organizing manufacturing-related AP files

• Assisting with month end closing

• Other associated duties or projects as assigned in the manufacturing context

  Requirements

• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable role in a manufacturing setting

• Proficiency in data entry, with Excel skills highly appreciated

• Strong understanding of A/P and coding invoices particular to the manufacturing industry

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Adaptable to changes in workload due to fluctuating manufacturing schedules

• Ability to maintain adherence to deadlines along with efficient time management skills
