Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our finance team and support our accounting operations. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.

• Enter financial transactions into the accounting software system.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Maintain and organize physical and digital financial files.

• Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.

• Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and employees regarding invoices and payments.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
