Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join a reputable and growing organization in San Diego, CA. This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a team that values collaboration, accuracy, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.

• Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing processes.

• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• Manage invoices, expense reports, and documentation within accounting systems.

• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records and vendor communications.

• Support the accounting team with administrative tasks including data entry and reporting.

• Uphold confidentiality and accuracy while handling sensitive financial information.

  Requirements

• 1+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a similar role.

• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic knowledge of GAAP principles is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with team members across departments.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.
