Our client, a leader in the autonomous mobility industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Engineer

Location: San Carlos, CA

Pay Range: $70-78/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Be the main point of contact between Program Management, Design Teams, Test Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Risk Management for hardware development and failure analysis.

• Perform complex and multi-faceted failure and root cause analysis as part of the Non-Conformance and CAPA process in a high-paced environment.

• Participate in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and guide teams to create quality documents including detailed Quality Plans and Process Flow Diagrams.

• Develop Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In Process Quality Control (IPQC), and outgoing Quality Control (OQC) requirements and set metrics for analyzing performance.

• Support the setup of procedures, instructions, and processes to align with international standards for Quality Systems.

What's Needed?

• BS in mechanical or electrical engineering required with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in design or manufacturing quality (MS preferred).

• Strong technical and analytical acumen with direct experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Thorough knowledge of QMS and quality control fundamentals.

• Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.

• Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
