Walmart Connect (the digital ad sales arm for Walmart properties) is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full funnel ad solutions leverage Walmart's in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with Walmart consumers, and convert Walmart consumers to shoppers.

Walmart Connect is seeking a Manager in its Billing Operations team to help on the New Business initiatives. The position's primary responsibility will include working on the Launch Readiness for all new products releasing. This will also involve partnering with various cross functional teams as per the initiative type.

The goal will be to ensure the billing pipeline and flows are set up correctly before the launch of any new products. The role would also involve gathering requirements from the internal billing team for process improvement, documenting the requirements and presenting it to the Systems team. The person would also do the User acceptance testing and provide feedback for any billing related automation.

The role would require ownership of setting up the end-to-end billing process for all new initiatives. The ideal candidate will have understanding of media industry and basic knowledge of ad tech business. This is an Individual Contributor role that will report to Senior Manager within Billing Operations.

This is an in-office job position that will report into the Walmart Connect office in either San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ locations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with RevOps Program management team on launching new business initiatives.

• Work with cross functional teams (Product, Advertising Business systems) to understand the new product and submit requirements for Billing.

• Provide decision-making support from Billing perspective to help develop the long-term goals and strategies.

• Actively participate in and drive system enhancements that streamline revenue operations processes by testing data and functionalities.

• Perform end to end UAT for all billing systems.

• Communicate findings to stakeholders to improve current and new systems.

• Acquire data from multiple tools and systems like Salesforce, Placements IO, and Ad Servers to extract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by leveraging business intelligence tools and software.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendation to solve business issue.

• Improve existing process through cross functional collaboration.

• Work on implementing financial process and system improvements by defining business requirements and proposing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business, Marketing, Information Technology Management, or related field and 2 years of experience in business management, Project management, or related field.

• Passionate and Curious to learn about digital advertising.

• Experience working with systems like CRM (Salesforce), Business Intelligence System (Tableau)

• Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Excel/Access)

• Experience to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and highly demanding work environment.

• Experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control.

• Experience executing User Acceptance Testing on new software products.

• Highly collaborative and strong communicator comfortable working cross functionally

• High level of accountability; proven ability to take ownership and solve problems.

• Ambitious self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive for excellence and delivery of results
