CAMERON APPRAISAL DISTRICT Entry Level Clerk in San Benito, Texas
General Requirements
- Must submit complete Employment Application
- If selected, must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
- Physically able to work in inclement weather (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Willing to work comp time when needed
- Maintain a neat appearance, and deal tactfully with the public
- Ability to attend and pass appraisal courses as required for advancement (according to TDLR) within 5 years
- Valid Driver's License
On the Job Training
All new appraisers will receive "On the Job Training" (OJT) in order to completely perform the job description above. It is the district's goal to have every appraiser certified within 5 years.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- College background with emphasis in business or mathematics (preferred)
- Prior field work or similar real estate appraisal experience (preferred)
- Good math skills
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Operate multi-line telephone
