Description We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves providing day-to-day system administration functions, supporting Windows Active Directory storage, network, backups, and other infrastructure. The position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity, providing the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging telecom provider environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provisioning, installation/configuration, patching, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware/software, network hardware/software, and storage systems

• Support and maintain Windows Active Directory storage, network, backups, and supporting infrastructure

• Operate and maintain monitoring and management tools like Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft SCCM

• Communicate technical information to non-technical personnel effectively

• Administer and support platforms including Microsoft Hyper V and VMWare vCenter

• Scripting in Powershell as required

• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts, including taking appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Resolve customer credit inquiries efficiently and professionally

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role

• Proficiency in managing Active Directory

• Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server is mandatory

• Demonstrated ability in working with VMware

• Proficiency in SharePoint is required

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 is necessary

• Must have knowledge and experience in handling Hyper-V

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work on multiple tasks and manage time effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications in IT and Systems Administration will be advantageous.
