Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to become a part of our team in the property management industry. Based in San Antonio, Texas, the role entails managing customer transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and responding to accounting-related inquiries. This position provides a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintain and update the General Ledger

• Execute bank reconciliations on a regular basis

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards

• Assist in setting up the accounting in Yardi

• Perform journal entries as part of the accounting process

• Conduct month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. Requirements • Proficiency in Yardi property management software

• Extensive experience with bank reconciliations

• Ability to perform monthly bank reconciliation accurately and timely

• Demonstrated skill in creating and posting journal entries

• Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger management

• Experience in managing month-end close processes

• Advanced user of Yardi software for accounting tasks

• Solid understanding of Yardi property management tools and functionalities
