work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Moving materialsMaterial handlers move materials and products around a warehouse, manufacturing facility, or other industrial setting. They may use machinery like forklifts to move heavy items.

• Loading and unloadingMaterial handlers load and unload materials onto or from containers, racks, or trays.

• Preparing materials for shipmentMaterial handlers select items from storage, wrap them, and prepare them for delivery.

• Inspecting materialsMaterial handlers inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or defects.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• standing for 8 hours at one time
