Robert Half Payroll & Benefit Administration in San Antonio, Texas
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll & Benefit Administration role in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the efficient operation of payroll and benefits systems, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and providing excellent service to our team.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of weekly and biweekly US payroll, along with any additional payroll needs as per business requirements.
• Oversee the timely completion of year-end activities related to W-2 and ACA reporting.
• Handle day-to-day activities on payroll, benefits, and 401k retirement plan related to new hires, terminations, and operational changes.
• Manage the completion and approval of monthly invoicing for all benefits providers.
• Diligently fulfil all payroll reporting requests in a timely manner.
• Administer the Ceridian Human Capital Management system and resolve any client or system technical issues.
• Act as a primary point of contact for employee questions, researching and responding to various queries in a timely manner.
• Participate in and complete annual audits related to company financial information and 401k.
• Oversee the accurate enrollment and termination of associate benefits.
• Ensure proper management and administration of Benefit Programs including leave management and enrollments. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Payroll & Benefit Administration
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with Ceridian
• Ability to use Crystal Reports
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Proficiency in using About Time software
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Experience with ADP - Payroll
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Benefits Administration
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
