HIV/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Family Medicine Opportunity
University Medicine Associates (UMA) is the mission-driven, non-profit, multi-specialty group of University Health (UH) serving San Antonio and surrounding communities. A dedicated team of 700 (and growing!) credentialed providers, 75+ PCP's delivering the highest quality of patient care and offering more than 32 different types of services.
UMA/UH is presently seeking a patient-centered board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality comprehensive care services to diverse patient population of our community.
Practice Details: University Health's FFACTS Clinic is funded in part by the Ryan White Treatment and Modernization Act. We strive to improve the health and well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS in San Antonio and throughout South Texas FFACTS is a comprehensive clinic where patients get their HIV/AIDS care. We offer services such as, life coaching, professional case management, psychiatric services, and mental health/substance use counseling Opportunity to train in specialization relevant to infectious diseases, primary care, and public health Understanding the diverse social and cultural factors that impact care, especially in populations at higher risk A commitment to providing empathetic, patient-centered care for individuals facing stigma or chronic health challenges
