- Disassemble, clean, refurbish, repair, and reassemble components as stated in manuals, drawings or other written or verbal instruction.
- Use measuring devices, including caliper, micrometer, scale, gauges, etc.
- Use and set up manual, pneumatic, electric, and automatic shop tools used in the repair process.
- Clean and prepare parts for coatings, paint, or plating. Apply finishes (paint, plating, etc.) to parts or assemblies.
- Assemble components, subassemblies and final assemblies and perform tests.
- Assist other technicians.
- Complete required documentation and reports for tasks performed and inventory control.
- Assist in housekeeping.
