Pay Rate: $52.66 to $68.48 per hour

Schedule: Flexible, available to work variable shifts (1st and 2nd)

Role Overview:

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly & Installation) to drive innovation and excellence in our manufacturing processes. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team, developing and implementing production strategies, solving complex technical challenges, and ensuring our designs meet the highest standards. Your contributions will shape how we build and integrate aerospace technologies, from conceptualization through production.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Production Plans: Lead the development and execution of manufacturing plans that meet production and tooling requirements, ensuring the integration of all technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

• Analyze and Optimize Design/Build Concepts: Conduct producibility and variation analyses to evaluate design/build definitions and ensure they are ready for production.

• Drive Collaborative Change: Work closely with stakeholders to implement design and build plan changes, minimizing disruption while maximizing benefits across the production lifecycle.

• Support Engineering Design Changes: Assist in tracking engineering design changes, ensuring risks are mitigated and milestones are met throughout the build process.

• Lead Integration and Collaboration: Facilitate seamless integration across affected commodities, guiding teams through technical challenges and leading process/tool improvement initiatives.

• Installation Planning: Develop and support installation plans, including shipside activities in San Antonio, ensuring seamless production and assembly processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (ABET accredited).

• 5+ years of experience in assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities (e.g., composites, structures), and data required for delivery configurations (e.g., engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams).

• Strong ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and aerospace product knowledge .

• Proficiency in CATIA and Microsoft Office tools.

• Ability to obtain customer approval for access and pass required background checks.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with GoldEsp and IVT (Integrated Verification Testing).

• Familiarity with out of production aircraft sustainment .

Pay Details: $52.66 to $68.48 per hour
