Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair functions on various machines and equipment, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair functions on machines and equipment.

• Purchase and control machine/equipment spare parts.

• Complete various maintenance and repair reports.

• Assist management with preventative actions to reduce and eliminate waste and quality problems due to equipment or machine breakdown/malfunction.

• Ensure all employees conduct maintenance and repair activities in a safe and efficient manner.

• Ensure all maintenance areas meet safety requirements and attend safety committee meetings.

• Assist management with the establishment and maintenance of work instructions, process procedures, and standards for maintenance and repair functions.

• Investigate, complete, and follow up on Root Cause Analysis for production loss or quality problems related to equipment or machine breakdown/malfunction.

• Participate in the continuous improvement program (kaizen).

• Input information for yearly budget and management plan preparation.

• Provide training for team members.

• Assign and perform maintenance and repair tasks to team members.

• Provide and perform maintenance and repair supervision.

Essential Skills

• Experience with repairs and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems.

• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor maintenance, and mechanical systems.

• Strong skills in PLC troubleshooting and reading ladder logic.

• Proficiency in 480V electrical troubleshooting.

• Experience with schematic reading, three-phase electrical systems, blueprints, and industrial maintenance.

• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required.

• Any industry experience is acceptable.

Work Environment

SHIFT: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday as needed. Shifts rotate every two weeks between days and nights, from 6 AM to 6 PM. Initial training will be conducted on the first shift for approximately six weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48880.00 - $51792.00
