OTA is seeking a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk who will support inventory and asset management operations, including handling shipping and receiving processes and maintaining an organized and safe storage environment. This role requires a thorough understanding of inventory and supply chain management principles and methodologies.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of supply and inventory management concepts and methodologies to daily operations
Utilize expertise equivalent to a Certified Inventory Management Expert (or similar certification) in handling and tracking inventory
Schedule Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLADS) deliveries and drop-offs.Coordinate and collect equipment from various departments
Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and complete
Arrange security and cybersecurity checks in coordination with the Security and Cybersecurity offices
Ensure equipment is packed appropriately for transport
Schedule recycling and hazardous material drop-offs as necessary
Verify that all received equipment matches the accompanying packing list
Coordinate security and cybersecurity checks for incoming items
Confirm that received equipment is properly labeled and packed according to standard procedures
Match incoming equipment to purchase requests and verify inventory accuracy.Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies, including shortages or overages
Ensure all assets in storage are accounted for and properly documented
Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free storage areas
Ensure all storage spaces reflect a professional appearance and adhere to safety standards
Required Qualifications
Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
1 to 5 years of approved shipping, receiving, and inventory experience
Supply Chain Institute Certified Inventory Management Expert
