Forklift Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in a production or warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving products or materials using powered tools and vehicles, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies is a critical part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles to move materials.

• Load and unload materials manually or using equipment.

• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven ability to operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles.

• Experience with warehouse operations.

• Familiarity with safety footwear requirements (e.g., steel toe boots).

• Ability to load and unload materials manually or with equipment.

Preferred Requirements:

• 1+ year of prior experience in warehouse/stocking/forklift operations.

• High School diploma or GED.

• Previous experience in a high-speed industrial environment.

Skills and Education:

• Forklifts: Vehicles used for lifting and moving materials over short distances.

• Industrial Vehicles: Machines such as forklifts used in industrial settings for material handling.

• Warehouse: A large building where raw materials or manufactured goods are stored before export or distribution for sale.

• Safety Footwear: Protective shoes that meet specific standards for toe protection, puncture resistance, slip resistance, etc.

• Load and Unload: The process of placing items onto (loading) or taking items off (unloading) transportation vehicles like trucks.

Pay Details: $14.50 per hour
