Role

Goal of the F&B Manager- Specialty Dining: Responsibleformanagingthe daily operations and long-term planning of the resort's Specialty Dining Restaurant, Antler’s Lodge. This role may also be asked to support and lead other resort venues or events as needed. Utilizing strong leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit to grow and develop the venue, often treated as ahigh-profile free-standingrestaurant. Sourcing new business, providing exceptional service, hosting events and activations will all be expectations.

The F&B Manager Responsibilities may include:

• Supports and Manages Antler’s Lodge while working closely with the Food & Beverage Director and other hotel departments

• Responsible forshort- and long-termplanning for Antler’s Lodge and provide input and feedback for other venues as needed

• Ensure effective hiring, training, development,promotionand continuous reinforcement

• Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results

• Full understanding of Associate engagement and action planning processes

• Develop and implement creative strategies for revenue enhancement and cost containment

• Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and objectives. Manage within those approved plans

• Responsible formaintaininga high energy, positive, professional appearance

• Plan, coordinate & managespecial eventsand holiday functions

• Ability to take the initiative to run the outlets as afree-standingentity

Food & BeverageManagers are an integral part of the hotel's overall Food and beverage team. Your colleagues will include the Banquet Manager, Executive Steward, Beverage Manager, and Director of Outlets. Experience in thepreviouslymentioned areas will guide you to the next step in your career path as an Assistant Food & Beverage Director.

Set on the site of the historic Rogers-Wiseman Ranch and Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort, Antlers Lodge stays true to the location’s history of a working cattle ranch by sourcing ingredients from local farmers and artisans. Antlers Lodge is the perfect choice for both special occasions and everyday dining, a true local gem in Northwest San Antonio.

It's a great time to be part of the Hyatt Regency Hill Country team. In the last 12 months the resort has undergone a complete guest room and meeting space renovation. Soon to complete a newly constructed lobby bar, and other F&B venues, including Antlers Lodge, have undergone complete renovations as well. There are still multiple exciting high impact projects on the horizon that will be incredible experiences for all involved.

Qualifications:

• Full Time Management Position that requires full flexibility, ability to work weekends and holidays and a varied schedule

• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast paced environment

• Refined verbal and written communication skills

• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point of sale systems

• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized

• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills

• Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge. Beverage knowledge should include wine, spirits and beer

• Hotel experience and a thorough understanding of restaurant service

• Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or a Restaurant Supervisor preferred

• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, and effective in providing exceptional customer service
