Job Summary:

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to fulfill PRN needs at Methodist ER City Base Freestanding ED in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained

• Strong communication skills

• Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Incentives/Benefits:

• 1099 position - up to 120 hours available

Facility Information:

• 15-18 patients per day

• 7 exam rooms

• 24 hours of physician coverage

• Shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a

• 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage

• Meditech EMR

Methodist Hospital - Metropolitan’s new standalone emergency room (ER) – City Base, a department of Methodist Hospital - Metropolitan, is a state-of-the-art ER is staffed with board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.
