Position
SAS has an opening for a Receiving/Shipping Clerk.
Job Responsibilities
Receive finish goods with a tablet & scanner
Operating material handling equipment
Operate Conveyor and scanner system used by Odyssey to read and verify unit
Sort & verify shipments match delivery order requirements
Picking orders and delivering product to picking location
Able to maintain and account for inventory of incoming product
Stocking and building of pallets through Odyssey program.
Research & resolve issues Odyssey & VIM
Track inspection requests using WAWF system
Communicate with DCMA & Odyssey support as needed
Complete understanding of all DLA requirements for military shipments
All other duties as assigned pertaining to the DC
Job Qualifications
Operating Electric Pallet Jack
Operate Tablet and scanner with training
Simple math
Able to prioritize and multi-task.
Knowledge of D365 or able to learn with training
Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
Knowledge of Odyssey and VIM or able to learn with training.
Self-starter that desires to take initiative.
Ability to work well with a team or autonomously.
Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Good attendance record.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on regular basis..
Must be able to stand/walk for 8 – 10 hours.
Ability to climb stairs as required.
Reach, stoop, and pull items 50 lbs above shoulder.
Must be able to work over time if required.
Education & Experience Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
Good computer skills preferred
