Description We are in search of a Database Administrator to join our team based in San Antonio, Texas. The role primarily entails managing SQL Server databases, optimizing their performance, and ensuring data security. The successful candidate will work extensively with SQL Server technologies, Linux technologies, and Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the installation, configuration, and upgrades of SQL Server databases.

• Monitor database performance and apply optimization techniques for improved efficiency.

• Implement and oversee database security measures to safeguard sensitive data.

• Conduct regular database backups and recoveries to maintain data integrity and ensure business continuity.

• Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for effective data integration and ETL processes.

• Generate and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports to offer valuable insights into business data.

• Write intricate SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and manipulate data.

• Design and implement efficient database models, applying data normalization and optimization techniques.

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to comprehend data requirements and translate them into effective database designs.

• Utilize your skills in Linux Technologies, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Optimization, AB Testing, Backup Technologies, Cluster Analysis, Configuration Management, and Database Administration. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

• Proficiency in Linux Technologies is required.

• Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is necessary.

• Should be skilled in MySQL.

• Applicants should have experience in Optimization.

• Knowledge of AB Testing is a must.

• Must be well-versed in Backup Technologies.

• Experience in Cluster Analysis is necessary.

• Proficiency in Configuration Management is required.
