Job Description

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Summer Intern 2025

The Business Intelligence (BI) developer intern will create reports using our Azure Synapse Data Warehouse and other data sources, while collaborating with business users to develop meaningful dashboards. Utilizing SQL, Power Query, and DAX, will deliver business intelligence solutions that support the organization’s needs and foster a data-driven culture.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and make certain that reporting solutions effectively address their needs.

• Collaborate with data engineers, data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Designing and Developing Power BI Interactive Reports, Paginated Reports and Dashboards

• Leverage Power BI to collect data from multiple sources such as Excel, APIs, SQL, and SharePoint. Develop visually compelling, interactive visualizations that convey key insights to stakeholders and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to share best practices, provide technical guidance, and support the adoption of Power BI and other platform tools.

• Monitor and optimize the performance of business intelligence solutions.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities to foster productive work relationships.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Power BI and Excel

Familiarity in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and DAX queries

Great communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Competencies:

Good interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels of employees

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability and willingness to act as a team player

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
