**Job Summary and Description The Assistant General Counsel serves as a member of the legal team providing legal guidance, opinions, and support across Alamo College District (ACD). This position involves a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to legal research, contract review, policy development, compliance oversight, and litigation management.Reports to the General Counsel. **Qualifications

**Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Five years of experience practicing law.

[Preferred Experience: [Understanding of construction contracts and industry forms.]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}

Experience working in higher education in a legal capacity.

Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework governing Texas public entities.

Familiarity with labor and employment law including litigation.
