We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves overseeing the operations of the accounts payable department and leading a team to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. This position also requires expertise in Workday to drive efficiencies and support the implementation of new processes and systems. MUST HAVE experience using Workday software. Prefer experience as an AP Manager within a shared services environment with experience automating and improving P2P process and procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the accounts payable team, including guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing, expense report approvals, and payment disbursements.

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, including vendor management and reconciliation of accounts.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and improve processes.

• Utilize Workday to maintain and update vendor information, process transactions, and generate reports.

• Support the implementation and optimization of Workday solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective use of the system.

• Develop and implement best practices and policies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounts payable function.

• Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to senior management.

Requirements • Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is required.

• Familiarity with Concur, Workday, and Workday Financial Management is a must.

• Demonstrable experience in data processing and accounting functions.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accrual Accounting.

• Experience with auditing procedures and Automated Clearing House (ACH).

• Knowledge of account coding techniques is essential.

• Experience with Workday Payroll system is preferred.
